I went to my pre-op testing today. I got to meet some of the other pre-ops at my surgeon's office. They did a bone scan, and I found out that I have a slight calcium deficiency. I am ready to fight that though. The good Lord told me to buy some Viactiv chews this weekend, and I did. People, when God speaks, LISTEN! The pre-op lasted all day. I got blood drawn, a chest x-ray, and an EKG. So, I'm all good to go. I was worried because my blood pressure had been high all weekend. My PCP told me they might cancel my surgery if I didn't get my blood pressure down. So she upped my dose of medicine. When my pressure was taken, I was told that it was slightly high, but they would proceed with the surgery tomorrow as planned. Plus, I found out today that I lost 10 pounds!!!! God is good, all the time! All the time, God is good! As of 7/16/2007, my weight is 348.6 lbs! No, I am not rounding that to 349 when I worked hard to get to 348.6! LOL. Well my OH family, the next time you will be hearing from me, I will be sitting on the loser's bench. So scoot over and make some room for me! May God continue to bless each one of you as you continue on your WLS journey.
