Well I am 22 years old. I am a full time respiratory student, and I work part time as a pet stylist. I have always been over weight if not obese since I was a kid, and I just got really sick of it. My mom had gastric bypass when I was a kid, so she is extremely supportive. One day after me dieting for over a year and losing only 25 lbs, she turned to me and said "hey have you thought about having the same surgery I had? Our insurance will cover it." Less than 3 months later I had my surgery. The whole process went so fast that I feel like I didn't even have time to be nervous about it, but I feel like it was the best decision I ever made. I haven't regretted it for a second (so far lol)
