Well I have my appointment for a consultation on May 7th. I had previously gone to an informational session to see what they had to say. There was someone there that had a RXY and loved it. She had lost over 100 pounds and I wanted to look like her. I have been overweight most of my life. I was only 11 the first time I joined WWatchers and seem to have been on a diet ever since. The only bad thing is I just keep getting heavier. I currently have a BMI of 43.6. with high blood pressure. Of course the usual hip pains, low esteem, etc.... I have been doing a lot of research to figure out what would be best for me. Leaning towards the DS as the overall results are better but then again do I want something that is less envasive???? I looked at all the memorials of this site and that kind of made me real nervous. My husband is so... supportive about what ever choice I make, I just love that man of mine. I haven't told my family and only one friend at work knows. I guess I have had so many faliures in the past that I just want to go in and have the surgery, lose the weight without all the questions, etc... My husband will be going to the consultation with me so I am counting the days. I am going to another information session next week with a different group just to compare and learn all I can.
