I am curious how long after surgery your brain can have normal functions. I am a college professor so my brain is my biggest asset and I am considering surgery a week before spring break. This will give me 14 days to heal before going back to the class

I am wondering how long of a recovery to expect after surgery, in terms of being able to go back to work at a desk job? 

I don't have a physically demanding job but would a week be long enough time?
