As suspected, my potassium was low, but just at 3.5. The way I was feeling I really thought it would be lower. My PCP started me on 20 mEq potassium daily anyway. Recheck labs in a week.Drinking is better today. So much better that I wonder if I'm not taking in too much fluid. Started taking chicken bouillon today. Last night I fixed a packaged Egg Flower Drop Soup without the egg. It was spicey and very salty, but it sure tasted good.
In general, I'm feeling stronger today. I actually replaced all the bunny litter boxes, which can be a chore. Additionally, I drove myself to Upland Kaiser clinic twice today, and stopped at the AAA office enroute home. It actually felt good to be out driving even though it is too soon after surgery.
