1st Consult was today!

Well my 1st consult was today and I was soooo nervous, not sure why though. The office staff was so nice, I gave them my packet and they gave me a few more forms to fill out that were missing, they were laughing and joking around and made me feel so much at ease. I met some patients in the waiting room and we talked a bit which also made me feel more comfortable.They took my BP (134), height (5'4) and weight (339). I met with the surgeon, patient coordinator and nutritionist. They spelled everything out for me in black and weight and gave me alot of handouts. The surgeon even drew a picture showing me the bypass which I thought was funny, I was actually shocked to see how small the opening for the new stomach will be though. I have to attend a seminar on March 26th, see a psych and get some tests done at the hospital (EKG, chest ray, and blood work). They surgeon said my surgery could be as soon as EARLY APRIL!!!!!!
