Definitely in the Century Club now!

Sep 02, 2009

I posted this on the Ontario board as a response to my request for the Century Club icon and I wanted to keep some of my thoughts as I reach this milestone (and I think I'll have another mini Century Club party at 219 as my surgery weight was 319!).

Thank you!! Sorry I haven't responded to all - the kids are back at school this week and I'm having bus issues and still have my son recuperating at home in his body cast so just popping the kids in the car to drive the one who was deemed a walker this year has required babysitters, patience, lots of phone calls to find out how to get said walker on the bus with his brother and sister, etc. So far I haven't been able to just enjoy the normal first day of school fun KWIM?

My daughter and I go to meet her Jr. K teacher tomorrow - my baby is starting school!! So it's been a busy week of big changes for all of us.

So my biggest goal has now been met - wanting to lose 100 lbs before my 6 mth surgiversary. I am now shooting for Onederland by Christmas and if I average 2-2.5 lbs a week I should get there.

Oh - and can I also now officially say goodbye to size 24 (pants/shorts) and any numbers on the scale that start with 24X. Size 24 shirts/tops have been gone for most of the summer already. I even found some old work clothes (I have been self-employed/work at home mom since my son Charlie was born in 2003) when I was cleaning out my closet. 2 gorgeous pencil skirts in size 20 that fit beautifully. FAINT I'm now smaller than I have ever been since before I met my hubby - I was probably this size (ie size 18-22) when I was in Sudbury from 1993-1997 (I met my DH in Ottawa in 1997). So for him, we're in uncharted territory! I told him he's gone a whole new woman in his hands. LOL
