2 months later no change
Oct 31, 2009
Well it's been 2 months since my last post and I have been through so much.
I've had a total hysterectomy with gald bladder removal at the same time.
Eating has been very difficult after the gald bladder is gone but I haven't lost 1 lb. Needless to say I did have to stop all exercise and dieting before and since the surgery.
If anyone has any suggestions on life after your gald bladder has been removed, I'd appreciate it.

10 lbs down
Aug 17, 2009
Well Saturday I went and weighed in. 198lbs. That's 10lbs down in 2 weeks. Most of it because of a very stressful situation in my family that caused me nausea and no sleep. While I'm back on track today, I feel the hunger pains. I have to get motivated to exercise.
I also joined the biggest loser at work last week. We'll see how that goes!

My Journey
Aug 08, 2009
I am a 40 year old that has been overweight my entire life. Always the girl with the cute face. I am currently on a weight loss program that involves taking a diet pill, eating bigger during the day and nothing after 7pm.
I began seriously doing something about my weight 2 years ago when I did this same program. I began at 233lbs and was 200 lbs. after 9 months. That also included going to the gym 3 days a week which for the last year I have been unable to do consistently. :(
Last month I was back up to 214lbs. So here I go again.
My Dr. tells me that I am not heavy enough for the surgery. I am on 13 pills a day associated to being overweight. My HDL is 16 and have been on meds for years without success to rise the levels. I have also recently been doing protein shake supplements which are hard for me because I travel a lot with my job.
I'm sure that I will never have a weight loss surgery but my goal starting today (again) is to be committed to getting myself healthy and down to 175lbs (which is great for my build).
