I haven't posted in years (literally). Since surgery, I have been hospitalized countless times. I have had: my gallbladder removed, my iron drop to unbelievable lows and, learned the importance of maintaining hydration and proper supplementation. At my lowest, post-hospitalization, weight I was 104lbs. My current weight is 122lbs. My original goal weight was 137 - 145lbs. I still have body dysmorphic disorder and battle it everyday. Despite the fact that I have hit a healthy weight, I feel very big and uncomfortable. I am looking forward to the winter. I usually drop weight in the winter. It is my "happy" season. My bipolar upswings during my favorite season. It's all fun and games until someone is hospitalized!

well, i saw dr. chastanet last week. what a nice man. if all doctors were as nice as him, i would look forward to medical appointments. my bmi is 42.5 - wow! i am heavier than i thought i was. my scale at home apparently does not want to hurt my feelings:) my iron is borderline, so i'm on iron supplements now. i got my chest x-ray and ekg done. i see the nutrionist on 6/2 and the shrink on 6/24. i wonder how long this iron level is going to hold me up.
