Hey girl!!! I hope your daughter is feeling better!!! Hang in there sister with the WW and CONGRATS on the weightloss. You go girl. I don tknow why docs want people to lose weight before a surgery...its just plain ridiculous bc if we have dieted forever then our metabolism is all screwed anyway. Just pray for what you want and He will answer you sister, I swaer to it. If you glance over my profile you will know he answered mine bc i was like you...getting made fun of and hiding my tears and the hurt that i had. I got your profile off of Julie Hedges website. Just hang in there sister...you are a very beautiful woman and dont ever let anyone tell you different. And people that make fun of others are trying to cover up for there insecurities!!! write me anytime. And YOU are HOT and will even be hotter after the WLS...just make all those high school idiots eat there words at the next reunion honey!!!

Thanks you guys! I love this website! There is so much information here and everyone is very nice and its a great place to make lots of new friends that know exactly what you are going through. I just had a question though, why don't PCP have knowledgeable information about gastric bypass, you know you would think that with them being a doctor, they would be familiar with this procedure. I had to explain the procedure in detail to my PCP, needless to say , I changed PCP! That was a little scary!

4/11/05 I am doing Weight Watchers as per my ins. request. I must do this for 6 consecutive months under a doctor's supervision, so far I have lost 13 pounds. I have been doing Denise Austin's aerobic workout, and its really easy for a 300+ person like myself to do. I am really feeling motivated! My friend Julie is a big inspiration to me, check out her website at e-dreamerz.net its unbelivable the weight she lost through her WLS!
