Almost a year

In 25 days, it will be a year since my life changed for the better!

In the 11 months since my surgery, I have: lost 110lbs (and still counting), gained a new (existing of mostly essentials) wardrobe: donated 2 suitcases and over 5 trash bags of clothes to my mother or goodwill; found that I enjoy walking and exercise; attempted to complete a half marathon but learned that I should start with a 5k first.

I have found God and love the relationship that I have with Him.

I made it through summer in NC without being a total sweatball. I could even drive without the AC on or the windows open and still not be drenched.

I didn't make it to the pool this summer, due to lack of a bathing suit. I put on my last swimsuit and it fell right off - what a fantastick feeling. As was the feeling i had when I put on a pair of jeans I've been saving and they were too big! I couldn't justify spending money on a swimsuit when it wouldn't fit next year.

I'm so thankful to Dr. Moran and this new life that he has given me.
