Okay, I am approved for surgery but I also need an endoscopy done prior to surgery. Waiting on that Dr. for an appointment for the procedure then I hope to get surgery date. I'll be back soon for updates.

Well it has been exactly 2 months since my last nutrition class. Finally my referral for the surgery is in and being reviewed as I type and waiting is making me sick. But I know the answer will be here soon. I'll be back with the results soon.

Everything went very well. I might need a Endoscopy but not sure yet. I will know more in a couple weeks. Now waiting for approvals again. Things are m0oving along nicely now. But now I am getting grief from some family members. Oh well it's my body they don't have to live with all this weight. Alright I will be back soon with more info and hopefully a surgery date......

Well, Melody the referal lady at my PCP office told me to do the pre-opt prior to my consult with the surgoen, so I have everything done. I do, everything is done I hope did EKG, chest x-ray, and labs. I have all copies even the x-ray films. I hope all he has to do is schedule the surgery.. well we will find out on the 23rd. next tuesday. talk to ya all real soon.

My pcp had to send everything AGAIN to the insurance company but the good thing is that, my refferal lady says she has never had a denial for this surgery and I should have my answer by the end of the week. keep praying and i will be back for an update.

Well, just got done with my round of phone calls to get that fire under them.
It worked insurance has refferal should know something by monday or tuesday.....

Ok I'm still waiting but I spoke to my referral lady at my pcp office and she says I will know by friday 9/28/07. Wish me luck ya all. I have the best people working for me though, Melody (my referral lady) had put my package to gether and even made me an appointment for the pre op physical because they are so few and far between she wanted me to get in a.s.a.p. And to have everything for the insurance, so they have nothing to ask for. I am so anxious, i can barely stand it but just 1 more week...yoo hooo

Last Thursday which was 9/13/07, was my last nutrition class, 6 months, twice a month, of classes which I loved, me and two other women ended the same day hopefully we will have surgery together. Well anyways let me get back to whats going on. I'm waiting...... the dietician from the classes sends in her approval then my doctor sends in hers, all to BC of Cali HMO, and then we see if I can see the Dr. I am a little nervous because I did'nt lose much weight actually I had gain then in the last 2 weeks I managed to lose 10 #'s. Well I will keep ya all informed. And if anyone has anything, words for me they are much appreciated TY, Michelle
