So I totally have been slacking like any good slacker does and have not updated in a minute. Well, since my last post, I have dropped Jillian, been laid out with the flu (no not SWINE), gotten all my pre op testing completed, got a new surgery date and location, met my Nut for the first time, and gotten really excited about my surgery. So, I am sitting here at my office going through my nutrition binder and it really hit me that my surgery is exactly 12 days from today (May 12^th). That is Crazy Exciting to me. What sparked this, is that the binder says to take before pictures of yourself and to take pictures to document your weight loss throughout the process. That will be an extreme change for me as I tend to avoid pictures like the plague. But it got me thinking that this time next year I will hopefully be at goal or really damn close! That blows my mind! I know I haven’t posted my stats so here it goes: as of today I weight 224.5 lbs. My highest weight was 239. My nutritionist goal weight for me is between 145 and 150 my dream weight is between 135 and 140 (so I at least fall into the healthy BMI range for my height, but I have a large bone structure so 145 is more realistic). So I have around 89.5 dream lbs, but 79.5real lbs to lose!  I started my pre op diet (which is not a liquid diet) yesterday. And started working out with weights and cardio on Monday. I am so ready! I know this because reading this “guide” my Nut gave me is not making feel that “oh my gosh I can not have (insert favorite food)” feeling that I usually get when I start a diet. My way of thinking is if I am going to have MAJOR minor surgery I am going to lose this weight for good. Anyway, I wanted to update you all and share the epiphany.  

So I have been having major issues trying to upload the stupid profile picture and the only one that is working is me with a huge pineapple in my hand. First, it is alcohol, second, I was on a cuise in the Bahamas....nough said!

There was a blog...i started...coincidentally on the same day I was approved for Surgery. My date is May 6, 2009.....I am sooo ready for this.
