I have an epically awesome family, a brilliant daughter, a righteous son, and an amazing Fiance'. After an great career in Computer Science and Education, I'm blessed/lucky/crazy enough to be following my dream of going into Nursing - Graduating December 2011, when I'll officially be: "Nurse Rachel" :)
It's what I've learned in Nursing School that has finally convinved me that I can't keep trying (and failing) on my own. I want to be able to physically perform my job and not have to worry that my body will let me down. I want to be able to go to Cedar Point with my family and not have to pretend that it's okay that I can't fit on the rides. In otherwords.. I want my life to match my brain. :)
NEW Surgery date: July 21, 2010. They were able to move me up a week so I had extra time to recuperate in the summer before my next round of clinicals. :)
