Hey Friends,

Let me began by saying, it had been 6 after surgery and I have already lost 8Lbs.  The first day was hell, it felt like somebody had hit me in the stomach a thousand times. At this point I am highly medicated and waiting for my checkup on the 21st of Nov.  Make sure when your leaving the hospital your highly drugged up.  The ride home was rough, my stomach felt like it was burning. I don't regret the surgery at all.  Things are getting better as the weeks are passing by.  It put ome pic up once I hit my 1 mth mark.  Love ya guys. Keep me in your prayers. Gladys

This Liquid Diet is killing me!!!!!!!

I have two offical days left until my surgery.  Today is also my last day at work.  I will be on short-term disability until I come back.  I will return back on the 26th of Nov. I was thinking about coming bck the week of Thanksgiving.  I felt like taking more time to relax.  Countdown is really here!

Yesterday was a interesting day.  I met with my surgeon and we talked about my concerns and he examined my abdomine and breathing.  Dr. T made all my worries go away.  I felt like he was one of my buddies or something.  Its countdown time! All I can say is may God Bless all the haters thats already hating.  Friends I will keep you informed.

Yesterday felt like a work day!  I say that because I went to 3 1/2 class, met with the trainer and did my pre-op labs at the hospital.  By the time I got to the hospital, I was bet.  Overall the class was very informative.  Met a great deal of people that had the same thing in common as myself (weight).  I will get back to you guys and keep you updated.

All my Pre-op appt have been scheduled.  That appt was scheduled today for bloodwork.  My 3 hrs class, meeting with the trainer, and bloodwork will be done on the 23rd of October.  This weekend I will go buy some things for my stay in the hospital. Friends, do you have any advice of what you think I really will need?

My surgery pack finally came!  It has all my dates lined up for pre and post op surgery.  I am so relieved, because I have been waiting for the pack since I was approved.  Its getting close.
