Well, I'm home and recouping. I am feeling pretty good now. I probably shouldn't comment on how things were for me until a little time has passed. I don't want to scare the @*#& out of pre-ops. It's true that nothing CAN truly prepare you for surgery. I am feeling pretty normal now though. Each day gets a little better. And the day that they told me I could go home...I bet I could've won a record on getting dressed the quickest. *smile* And....little by little....I'm getting around quicker too. I get my tube & staples out tomorrow & boy will that be a relief. Anyway, I am feeling good today. Thanks for all of your e-mails and comments!!!! And God Bless You Michelle for sticking by me through this. You are a very special person!

****ANGEL ALERT*** I have talked w/Therese for the last two days. Everything going much better. She is having some nausea but they think its do to the morphine that she was allergic to. They are planning on keeping her until Monday to make sure. She said she was doing some walking ect. She can only have ice chips still due to the nausea. Please stop by her page and wish her well! ****Angel Alert **** Went to see Therese doing well. Did have some severe pain so they had to change her meds to get her pain under control per the ICU nurse. She was resting so we were not allowed to wake her. All vital signs were good. Congrats Therese your now on the other side! Best wishes to you on a speedy recovery and I'll be checkin on ya!

Girl only 3 more days! I know you'll do great. Thanks again for everything you did in supporting me through my surgery! I couldn't even begin on expressing my feelings of what it has meant. I'm behind you 100% I know your feeling excited about now and can't wait! Thanks again for all your support and complements! Its not my turn to return the favor. Just remember that God is with us and he'll watch over you and keep you safe.. Before long you'll be wanting Red Lobster crab legs with me. haha. We'll still be able to have lunch just at a much cheaper price. Seriously, I'm praying for you and I'll be there for you Wed. I wish I could be there during your surgery but someone has to run the office. I'll be there right after work! Hang in there and smile :) Your weight loss sister - Chell :)

Therese, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
