It's been a journey....1 year and 112 lbs!

Aug 25, 2009

It's been a year since I started my journey to tackle this weight.  The first few months are just a blur....things have settled down and I only have 30 lbs to go.  I'm getting more activity in, but not enough formal exercise.  I hate to exercise and can't seem to force myself to get out there and just do it.

Interactions and the way folks perceive me have changed.  You know you never really notice that you're a tad bit invisible until folks who never spoke to you acknowledge you.  It was quite weird in the beginning, but you get used to it.  Also you have to adjust to being "normal", just a regular person not Kim who lost 100 lbs.  Many people you meet won't know that old you, so you are treated just like everyone else.  It feels odd in the beginning but it gets better.

Next big goal is one-derland...just one more pound and I am there!!!!  Kim : )
