I havent been on in a long while

Sep 09, 2010

On August 5th I have to have my gallbladder removed. But that was truly a blessing because now I feel over the top fantastic. I have lost 135 lbs since my gasrtic bypass almost 8 months ago, and I am still going steady. I am finishing my law degree and have been unable to go to the gym because I am not allowed to exercise until I hit 8 weeks post op from my gallbladder removal surgery.

I think my WLS surgeon,  who also removed my gallbladder, is a true God send!! I used to wear a size 32 now I am a size 18. I am truly blessed! Everyone I havent seen since school ended in June just saw me yesterday and their mouths fell open from the huge change!! I have the whole world rooting for me now. So now that I hit my first 2 weight goals I am dying to hit numbers 3 & 4. Goal 3 - weigh 200 or less lbs. Goal 4 weigh less than 170lbs. Goal 5 - is absolute goal weight, to be determined in January.

I have also had bad times. I and a a friend encouraged someone to have WLS and he died on the table. He never ever had surgery before and it seems he had issues with anesthesia. So there is a positive and negative to everything.

I can encourage anyone looking into WLS to please make sure u visit with an allergist first if u have never had anesthesia before.

Hope u all enjoyed your summer as much as I did.
