Well, I feel Like I got things Accomplished this weekend...

May 09, 2010

I can hardly believe that the big day is just one week away! I have been feeling kinda behind in my preparations because there was so much I still had to do to get ready. I needed to clean my house really good, Pick which proteins I was going to use for the two weeks after surgery, pick vitamins for my new lifestyle, and on top of that keep focused and prepared mentally for this huge astronomical change about to occur. LOL

Well I can say my office is spotless, I didn't take me long at all. All I had to do was go through all my mail and decide what to keep and what to throw away, Windex my beautiful glass furniture, and vacuum. Now I am sitting here taking deep breaths because a clean room, there's just something about it that makes the air crisp and fresh.

Accomplishment number two: I have fighting about which post-op protein supplement to take for the two weeks I will be on liquid. My diet plan only gave us a choice of two powders and two ready-made liquids. I was leaning toward the ready made liquid, but after research I decided on the Syntrax Nectar based on really good reviews. So I ordered Green Ecstasy for the clear liquid phase and Chocolate Truffle for the Full Liquid phase and I feel really comfortable with those choices. I cost me 60 bucks, but hey they were all running about the same price.

Accomplishment three: I then headed over to Bariatrics Advantage to order my first 3 month supply of vitamins. I ordered the B-12 in black cherry. The nutritionist at Centennial suggested the wild cherry lozenges for the calcium, and I got a three month supply of vitamin D(hopefully all I will have to take) for a grand total of 62 dollars. I decided just to take good ole Flintstones for the multi-vitamin. Getting all this stuff ordered has left me feeling pretty good.

Of course all of you will be glad to know that after my P-I-Z-Z-A flub this past week on my liquid diet I have been doing and feeling awesome, I know this is but a small sacrifice for the new healthier me. Hey the plus side is I have already shed 13 pounds, and you just can't knock that! LOL

Well I guess that's all, God Speed to all you having Surgery this week, and I will check back in soon!
