About me/2 days til surgery!!!!

This whole blog thing is new for me . But I really need support if this thing is gonna work . First off , I am 40 years old. I have a wonderful husband, my high school sweetheart. I have a 20 year old son and a 14 year old. I also have a 2 year old grandson. God has blessed me in ways I never expected. I have a really great family. I am an Engineering Admin Assistant for a Biotech Company in RTP, North Carolina. I live near Raleigh, actually I live in the country Johnston County. I just commute to Raleigh everyday.
I have struggled with my weight ever since I had my first son. Over the past 20 years the weight has just piled on little by little. It really bothers me and I am insecure because of it.
I went to a LapBand seminar in June 2008. I was impressed with the doctor, but I was still debating over having the surgery. I felt like I should be able to do it on my own. Well, I finally got the courage to go to the appointment and after alot of research, I wasn't scared anymore. I have BCBS Insurance right now. I did all the tests, blood work , psych evaluation, Dietician evaluation, and all my paper work. I was approved within 3 weeks after submitting my packet. I decided to schedule my surgery for November 26, 2008. Since it is Thanksgiving week then I will already be off work on Thurs/Friday. I cant' wait until Wednesday!I will try to keep the blog updates regular...Which means I will be blogging from work  For awhile....My computer at home is acting up. I am weighing in at 294. Please praty for me....
