Hello Everyone, I have just returned from my 1 week visit with my surgeon. My surgery was on 8/28 at CMC, Nashville, TN. Dr. Olsen was my Dr. He is absolutely wonderful. He has been so helpful and so supporttive, answering all questions, and even calling to check on me after I had to make a visit to the ER, (all my fault, I didn't take pain meds) Anyway, when I went today my first visit, I had lost 20 lbs. overall I feel good, still have a little pain in the incission sites. I am now on my week two liquids I do not like the Advant shake, believe it or not, I had no problem with the Iso Pure, but the shake, is difficult for me. Please continue to keep me in your prayers. This is going to be a great journey. Sandi

You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. I just found out that I have been approved by my insurance company on first attempt for gastric bypass surgery. I am waiting for a date now. Blessings Sandi

I went for the psyc. evaluation today. It was a breeze, I can't believe how nerveous and anxious I was about this. Please pray that the insurance will quickly be approved. Thanks
