Here I am, waiting, wondering and hoping that the insurance company grant me my surgery. I don't want to be unhealthy anymore. I am so angry and so unhappy, and wonder why I was dealt these cards, but everyday I manage to push myself, harder and harder to try to live a normal life for the sake of my children, but I am miseralble and depressed and I know they see it. I pray that my wsl is approved. Now I just have to leave it in the hands of GOD.

11/07/07 Decided I was really going to have bariatric surgery.
11/12/07 Went to the doctor found out I have hypertention, put on meds
11/13/07 I went to the bariatric surgery seminar at Hutzel Womens Center
11/14/07 Had my surgery consult. They said I was a perfect candidate.
11/19/07 Got a new pcp and went to appointment with medical records in hand, was put on a supervised diet to comply with the 16 week supervised diet the insurance company requires.
11/21/07 Psychiatric Interview for insurance approval for evaluation.
11/23/07 Pulmonology consult.
11/26/07 EDG, went to appt. but was cancelled because surgon was called on emergency surgery.
11/27/07 Psychiatric evaluation was only approved for 1 hour, the insurance company felt I did not need the entire 3 hours that the psychologist requires. Psychologist decides to adjust the evaluation to suite my needs and the insurance.
12/03/07 Stopped smoking on my own so the surgon does not have to tell me to.
12/05/07 Psychiatric evaluation
12/06/07 Cardiology consult including heart ultrasound and EKG stress test was scheduled. Ultrasound and EKG looks very good.
12/20/07 EDG- Cancelled again by hospital
12/31/07 Hemotology appt. because white blood cells were up 13+ and my old pcp could not understand why, I had no infections and all my bloodwork was excellect, too well he thought for a person my size no high colesterol, no diabetes, etc.
01/07/08 Had my sleep study
01/08/08 EDG
01/09/08 Stress Test
03/10/08 Paperwork Submited to insurance company
