Hi Ronda! I just wanted to let you know that you look absolutly WONDERFUL!!!! =) Unbelievable! I still can't imagine loosing that much weight! I'm 2 weeks post op and I've lost 20 pounds already, but I can't see the difference yet. I read your profile and laughed my butt off when you gave the advice about the tongs! OMG! I wish I would have read that before the surgery, because guess what? Yes...the nurse wiped my tush!!!! hahahahhaaaaa....anyway, thanks also for the advice about your protein intake. I'll go to the store tonight and buy all the cream soups you suggested! =) Good luck to you, and keep us all posted on your husband and your new life together! Thanks, Jody

Ronnie came through the procedure with flying colors. I am so proud of her! She has really dedicated herself to making this work, putting maximum effort into everything the staff has asked of her. It took a couple of hours to get her pain under control, but she did great with the breathing treatments, and looked fantastic on her "laps" around the ward. Big "THANK YOU" to Dr. Ihde and the staff at BTC, they have been wonderful. I'd also like to thank Becky and Tim Collier (Becky's surgery was Monday and she's down the hall) for all of their support and friendship. I'll continue to add updates as they come, of course, and thanks again to all of you that have offered your support as well. Semper Fi!

To everyone that has posted encouragement for my wife, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know she really appreciates. I will try to post updates this week to let you know how things go today./// As for you, the love of my life, I want you to know that I am proud of you. Your courage to face the unknown for the greater good is truly inspiring. Fear is acceptable, failure is not. No matter what, I will be with you through it all, now and always. I love you.
