Yep, that's right 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days!!! However I look at it!!!  It has been a fantabulous year!!! I must admit that I am humbled when I think about how far I am come from one year ago yesterday (6/1).  I have no regrets and I would say I wish that I had done it sooner, but I'm glad that I did it when I did because it was right on time.  I feel great ----- no complaints.  I am starting to slowly get back in the dating game (which I am finding out that alot has changed since before my divorce --- and that's another blog!!!!), but I am really loving life --- I like to  tell people that I am a Transformer and if I had to pick my favorite Transformer character it would OPTIMUS PRIME!!!!! So, just wanted to let everyone at ObesityHelp.com and all of  my fellow journeymen know that I appreciate everyone and for  those of you who are starting the process, still waiting, pre and post ops, hang in there ---- this definitely pays off.  Here's to good health, good living, good people, and good times!!!!

Well, tomorrow will be officially one week since I've had surgery and as of right now, I'm doing pretty good.  Can't wait to eat some meat though!!!    I want to thank everyone for their well wishes, blessings, prayers, etc.  It means alot to me.  I'll be posting quite frequently in the coming weeks as I transition to each food stage, i.e. clear liquids, full liquids, soft/pureed, etc. as well as get tips on how to prepare for going back to work.

Thanks again for everyone's support and I'll be chatting with my new fam soon!!!!

SMOOCHES!!!!

I met with Dr. Duncan and his staff today.  I am impressed to say the least.  He's very informative and stressed the importance of exercise even down to which exercises to do first --- strength/resistance and then aerobic.  So, I'll keep everyone posted.  Thanks for letting me share!!

I have a surgery date!!! YEAH!!! It's June 1, 2010 with Dr. Titus Duncan --- can't describe what I'm feeling right now so I'll just update later!!!
