Just want to send a shout out and many thanks to Dr. Jean-Baptist who did my surgery on this past wednesday. I am feeling pretty good. I am learning how to drink again trying to get more and more water in every day. Yesterday was my best so far I managed to eat 3/4 of a sugar-free jello; 2 sips of broth; and maybe 3 oz. of peppermint tea. So its getting a little better going down. My pain is minimal at this point. I really dont need the percosettes, tylenol is working at this point.Overall my whole hospital experience was pretty good except for all the waiting.....got there at 11:00 am which they tell u to come 2 hours before your surgery time which was 1:00 pm. I didnt get into the surgery holding area until 3:00 pm. I think my surgery started around 5 i really dont know i was drugged but when i woke up in recovery my husband told me it was 9:25 pm. wow! The Dr. had told him everything went well without any complications.
Dr. Jean-Baptist is an excellent surgeon, he comes highly recommended, and is admired and respected by many of his colleagues and doctors in the tri-state area.
Thank you Dr. Jean-Baptist - you get the job done well! and my process was very quick from my first consultation in February to surgery in May.
