Sorry my earlier post was incorrect. It should have read that I am now 190 and my goal is 180 that's 10 pounds to go......SMILE.....

Hello AMOS family, it has been quite awhile since I posted. I am happy to say that I am back on track with my weight loss. As of June 1, 2003, I have lost 36 pounds the hard way. On June 1, 2003 I weighted 226 - a gain of 11 pounds. I got off track, but with the help of a structured diet plan and exercise I am now 190 only 180 pounds to go.....

MY UPDATE.....Hello AMOS family. I have not had the time to visit the site in awhile. Thanks to Jessica and Eric I have been reminded that today is my 1 year anniversary. I am not sure how much I weigh but I am now in a size 16...down from a size 30. I have been told that I look much smaller than that, but I'm still grateful for what I have loss so far. I have not been able to update my picture, but I will try to in the next month. I want to thank all of you who has encouraged me. For those that have still yet to make this journey.....good luck......and always remember THE BEST IS YET TO COME....

Hello AMOS family. I have my new pictures uploaded. I am now 8 months out and I weigh 215 pounds. That's a total of 86 pounds so far. I only have 38 more pounds to go before I am at my high school weight again. ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to thank all of you who have sent encouraging comments to me....THANK YOU SO MUCH.... The best is yet to come

Hello my fellow pre and post op surgery friends. This is my six month update. I have not weighted myself since August 22, 2002. I will weight myself every two months, so I will not weight myself until October 22, 2002. On August 22 I weighted myself and I was 238 pounds, thats 63 pounds lighter since my surgery date. Last week I went to the store to buy an outfit and I was able to fit in an 18. I AM SO EXCITED. I have come down from a size 30. Last month I brought a 22 now just last week I'm in an 18. One thing that I have found out is not to get hooked on what I weight, but how I look and feel. I still have not had to take any pills for diabetes or hypertension. My blood sugar and blood pressure is still in the normal range. There was a time when I did not want to look in the mirror or take pictures for that fact. When I look in the mirror now I am beginning to like what I see. I have never taken a professional picture with my beautiful daughter, but I will be doing so in two weeks. HEY, HEY. I will post the picture with my daugher next month when I update my picture on my web page. HI Sandra WOW that is wonderful losing all that weight.I am sorry you didn,t post your surgery so you could had receive surgery support.Keep up the great weight lose you will soon be at goal. You must feel so much better.LORD BLESS
