"Dr. Nunn is a very kind & softspoken man. He fully expllained all the risks, pros & cons of both procedures i was considering and steered me towards the one that would be safest for me taking all my health issues into consideration.rnrn He was very calming on surgery day, which was a good thing as I am very anxious by nature! rnrn My surgery was 6-27-07, no my first impression did not change about Dr.Nunn. I did get a second opinion and had a not so impressive consultation with another very well know surgeon, that really pushed a different procedure to me. I chose to stay with Dr. Nunn as he obviously took my health concerns seriusly. rnrn I would highly recoomend him, he and his office staff are very caring, concerned and competent. Dr. Nunn was also very insistent I receive home nursing care, even though they didn't think it was necessary. I am impressed and feel he goes the extra mile to ensure his patients get good care. rnrn The only down side so far for me has been the 60 mile drive, but I'll drive it for a good Dr."
"Though the building is a little older it is CLEAN and the floors are spotless. The only thing I noticed is they depserately need new iv poles the wheels didn't roll well and they were hard to push while walking, and they need new gurneys the one I was on after surgery was very rickety & I was scared it would fall apart while I was on it as was the transport guy pushing me to my room. The discharge process was confusing and took 6 hours, this could be improved upon."
"I'm so glad my husband stayed with me!! As a nurse I am disgusted with my in patient experience here and would not encourage anyone to have WLS there. I will be writing a letter of complaint to BCBS, it was that bad. I have to give kudos to the ER staff & the Doc, care there was great-superb all three visits and I'm healing very well thanks to the surgeons fine skills."
