One year ago today, Juune 26, 2001, I began the journey of a lifetime. I had an open RNY. At the time I weighed 321*. One year later I have lost 140*, putting my weight at 180*. The journey has been incredable and more is yet to come. Soon I will have a hernia repair and a tummy tuck. Details have not been set, but I have signed a consent to have the hernia repair. I have yet to meet with the plastic surgeon, etc.

Eight weeks ago I had surgery. To date I have lost 42#, and still loosing. The food intake is going well, though I still dump on occassion. Two weeks ago I returned to work. Work is going well, though it is hard for me to get my meals in. My energy has soared. I am up early, exercising two to three times a week, and can touch my toes when I bend over.

****** ANGEL UPDATE******* I spoke with Cindy's nurse and he said that everything went well with the surgery and she is resting in her room i will call tomorrow and check in with Cindy. Glad she safely made it to the other side. Cindy D
