Sleep Study

On Saturday I had my required sleep study at the Rockwall sleep center. I was very surprised at how nice everything was there including the staff. I was extremely nervous of the whole experience and in fact I was rather miserable the entire night. I couldn't relax with all of the wires and especially the finger monitor that seemed to become tighter and tighter every minute. I don't feel like I slept more than ten minutes in a row at any one time, and in fact spent much of the night texting my husband and checking on the weather.

Well today I received a phone call from the sleep center saying that my study had been analyzed and that I have sleep apnea. I was totally confused since I didn't feel like I slept enough for any type of test and thought that this would be something I would have noticed or maybe my husband would have noticed. They stated that they had 229 minutes of sleep time recorded and analyzed but I don't think that is accurate. Anyway I have to go into the center and do another sleep study this Thursday and I am NOT looking forward to it.
