OK!! I'm back home! Can't write much yet because I'm still weak. I was scheduled for Lap RNY, but because my stomach had parts that had adhered to itself, it turned into Open RNY. I have LOTS of cuts on my belly!! I spent 2 nights in ICU because they didn't have a bed for me on the floor the second night. My angel, SuzyC, came to wish me well as I got there and was one of the first people I remember seeing when I woke up. She gave me a Bari-Bear (highly recommended if only for emotional support!) and a fan. Turns out, my room was the ONLY cool ICU room! The air was out in the others! Dr. Lin was great. His resident was also great. Ditto for the anesthesiologist. So, after 2 nights in ICU, and 2 nights on the 2nd floor, I've been home a few days and getting better everyday. Gotta go rest now. WHEW!! I sure get worn out quickly!
