Hi guys, My name is Christa I'm 37 years old I have 2 beautiful children ciara (almost 17) and curtis who is 9, i habe been married for almost 16 years and seperated almost 5 of those. we are trying to work things out. we will see what's in store for us down the road.
OK so here I am on this site LOVING IT... I'm waiting to see the endrocronologist tomorrow after being on "The shrink your liver diet" (protein drinks) for almost 5 weeks UGGGGG he will then send my paperwork to the Insurance Co. why they are waiting sooooo long is beyond me, the insurance co. required me to lose 20lbs b4 the papers could be submitted ummm I did that. but OWLS wanted me to shrink my liver first. actually it's understandable for all parties involved however the process seems long! I'm going to Have the LAP BAND and hopefully once the Insurance says yes It wont be long to start on the NEW ME!!
I come from a family of Overweight people. however My Mother had Bulimia which sadly killed her at the young age of 34.
I've been on a roller coaster all my life as far as dieting. I can diet great I have wonderful willpower until about 100lbs then I give up.. done that 3x's!!!! What I don't do great is menatally and emotionally know how to change my way of thinking when it comes to my health..I'm working on that And and I am looking foward to the LAP BAND being a TOOL to help me achieve my goals/dreams.
I have issues with my Thyroid (changing strengths all the time) I take meds for high Blood presure as well suppose to take metformin for my sugar levels..There's just something scary about that medicine that makes me not take it..There goes that mental thing again..You'd think watching my Mom have so many issues with her diabetes I'd want to get in control of that, but I do know i'm in denial.. I'm borderline diabetic and The doc's said with the more weight I lose the more likely I wont need the pills as well my Blood Pressure ones prior to surgery whoo hoo!
So wish me luck tomorrow***
