Second time around .
My story goes as follows .I had lapband surgery in 2002 but like some of us after surgery I cross addicted due to several circumstances .Alcoholism reard its ugly head and I did manage to get to goal within 1.5 years.due to the neglect of that disease and the damage that was done as a result I gaind back nearly 50% of my weight after I became sober and active in 12-step recovery. In July of 2008 I had a massive injury in wich the port and tube ( The port sheerd off and the tube snapped)was severy damaged and had to be replaced after meeting with my surgon it was determined that it was repairable and could be saved .this was done after meeting with my surgon in depth and reviewing the dynamicts of my 12 step program and the implimintation of the steps and principals into my weight losst program. This has ben a blessing as after the revision I am now nearly down to goal at 230lbs and applying the same 12 steps to my weight loss and after nearly 5 years being sober like many gifts in recovery it was a second lease at life.
life is a journey of freeflowing awarness that has many trials
to flow without resistance and live through experience."
