Mother of two little boys, wife to a loving, supportive husband, RN in Labor and Delivery. I have always been a big girl, as far back as I can remember. My mother tells me that I started gaining weight in kindergarden when I had to sit down most of the time, that prior to that I used to run around all the time. I miseds out on a lot in my life because of my weight and I was so tired of it. Now with two little boys I don't want to miss out anymore, so I decided to have VSG when I found out the insurance at my new job covered WLS. I am now trying to lose the weight that has plagued me my whole life, I know that weight isn't the whole issue but I truely feel it will make such a difference when I reach a "normal" weight for the first time. The road so far has not been easy and there will be challeges along the way, but I am willing, ready and able. Look out world, here I come!
