New jeans!
Sep 22, 2015
CW: 224
I bought new jeans for my new job, size 18 down from size 26. Don't get me wrong, they're tight but I can sit down in them.
I now look like a "normal" person that's overweight. I can sit with my legs crossed at the knee, and even my shoe size went down. This tool is the best thing to ever happen to me.
Family BBQ!
Aug 16, 2015
CW: 237
I went to a family bbq today and every single person who saw me asked what my secret was, what am I doing, etc. I don't tell people I had surgery, but I did tell them I was working with my doctor and a nutritionist. I also explained I was on thyroid pills (I am), and explained my eating plan. It felt fantastic to get so many compliments. I know I have a long ways to go, but I'm getting there slowly but surely. I think at the moment I'm averaging 12-15 lbs a month, which seems a decent rate.. I think.
Half way there!

110 lbs lost, 110 lbs left to my personal goal. I'm feeling absolutely fabulous, it's my day off, and I had my nails done today... woot woot.

So, I'm down 100 lbs since surgery. I'm still quite heavy but the feeling of not needing a seatbelt extender was huge. I asked for one, she told me she'd bring it.. I sat down, tried the belt and behold! Definitely made my day. :)
New clothes! (4.5 months post op)

I've been wearing the same clothes since before surgery. I always hated shopping... I'm sure any woman that was pushing so close to 400 lbs would. I struggled to find clothes. I mean even in the really big section, way at the back, I'd occasionally find a 4 or 5x that would look passable.
I went to Addition-elle today and told them how much weight I'd lost. My size 26 jeans were drooping pathetically off of me, the hems now drag to the floor a bit as if my legs, too, have shrunk. The store was dead and the girls had a field day. They called me their barbie and had a great time measuring me for bras, dresses, etc. 20!! I'm a size fricking TWENTY! Now.. this is a plus sized 20, but it took me putting on 4 dresses to believe it. I'm not sure I really do. It made my day.
Yet another stall... sheesh

CW: 287
Seems like I lose weight for a week and then stall for 2, but during that 1 week weight loss I average about 10 lbs loss. It's weird and kind of eff's me up mentally. I think that I'd rather have slow and consistent weight loss... lol. I know that I lose slower than some, but I journal my foods, drink all my water, take all my vitamins.. etc. I follow the program and it seems like my body is doing what it damn well pleases. Ah well... at least the scale moves each month and for that I'm thankful.
NSV - for the ladies!

For my ladies at least... LOL
Bra extender no longer needed for my "pretty" bras. You guys know the ones I mean... they're lacy and push-up and make you look awesome but only come in smaller sizes. I have a few of those but they all needed a 4 prong extender to make them fit. I'm so thrilled!

I did the math today and realized that I'm *exactly* 1/3rd of the way to my goal. Best part yet is how awesome I feel! I don't feel deprived at all. Running up stairs is much easier, I sleep better, clothes are falling off me, I have more energy.. and the rest of my life feels like it's all falling into place too.
Feeling fantastic! (6 weeks post op)

Stepped on the scale this morning and had lost a few more pounds. Makes me wonder why I was ever worried about my stall... lol! My mood is definitely better and I'm not as tired, and though I still feel the need for a nap in the afternoon, I'm not dead on my feet if I don't get one.

Finally busted through my stall. My first major goal will be sub 300's, but for now I'm happy to see the scale budge, even if it's only by a little bit.
