Hi there Shalee, So you think you are going nuts because you're having second thoughts. Well, let me put it this way--you are very normal! My first visit to the doctor was May 18th and my surgery date is finally getting close--October 18th. Yes I have and am staying awake nights worrying about the surgery, the food I may never be able to eat again and what I will be giving Up. But you know--it is going to be worth it in the end. Just stay tuned to obesityhelp.com and read all the positive remarks everyday day posted by sucessful WLS patients who have had the surgery and are doing so well. Some have had problems but most of them have been worked out in the early days after surgery by their doctors. Keep your chin up and look forward to the future and how wonderful you're going to feel. I wish you the very best of luck and want you to know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am having my surgery on 9/18/00 and that is just 4 more days. I was very scared at first but have a peace about it since I prayed and placed it all in the hands of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Good Luck and God Bless, we are going to do just fine. ^j^ Your date is my sons birthday he will be 17
