Waiting for surgery

Hi everyone
My name is Sharon and I live in Langley B.C.
I`m waiting for gastric by pass surgery.
I did alot of research on the internet about the lap band
and gastric by pass. I have choosen the bypass.
My family doctor found Dr. Meneghetti ( in Vancouver )
I first saw him on March 13 2006. He sent me for alot
of test. ( clean bill of health ). I last saw Dr. Meneghetti on
June 15 2006. He also told me he would start doing the
surgery in the fall. I phoned the office October 1 2006
he is not doing it yet and he does not know when he will start
I am 46 years old and tip the scales at 300 lbs. Like most people
I have done it all. The surgery is not the easy way out for me.
This is a tool to help me change the life style I have been living.
I have a 12 year old son and I want to live long enough
to be a grandmother.
