My son Mikey and his wife Andrea drove in from Dallas because grandpa died on Thursday. Its so good to see them; haven't seen them since their wedding on Dec 17th. The viewing is this afternoon and all the friends and family are coming over to my house for food afterward for a few hours (and here I am just 4 days out of surgery!), but I don't mind because Don was well loved and we will all miss him sorely (he had a very agressive liver cancer; from the doctor's telling him he had it, to the day he died, was almost exactly 3 months!) I am in bed, then come out and visit for awhile, then back to bed before the viewing, then will be up until everyone goes home; thank you God, for pain pills!
