Good luck to you Sheila on your upcoming procedure. I am only 4 weeks post-op but can hoenstly say this is the best thing I could have ever done for myself. You have a great doctor, McCarty was mine as well, and Baylor is an excellent hospital. I will keep you in my prayers for a healthy and speedy recovery. You will do just fine :-).

Hi Sheila~Can you believe in 2 and a half weeks our new lives will begin??It's been a long and frustrating journey,but I think we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. I guess you'll be going home on the same day I arrive at the hospital.I would stop in and say hi when I get there but I doubt you want to be woke up at 5:00AM by some crazy woman who will be a basket case of nerves anyway!LOL If I don't get the pleasure of meeting you then,I'll see you at the support group meetings. Take care and hang in there...it's almost here!! ~Kim

Hey Shelia, I think this is great we both live in the same town and surgery is on the same day, we will have to plan to get together after surgery.. Good Luck and I will keep you in my prayers. Sheryl
