"I met Dr Brown at my pre-op visit 5 days before my surggery, and he was very understanding and reassuring about how the surgery works and made sure to answer all of my questions. My impression was the same while I was getting ready for surgery and in the hospital. The office staff are very friendly and supportive. They have a great website and the hospital has a great video online about the program. The only thing I didn't like so much was that he couldn't really answer my question about how me having CPOS would impact my ability to lose weight after surgery and if he had any suggestions. He emphasized aftercare alot with the support groups and follow up appointments. They have a well rounded program for aftercare at Colorado Bariatric Surgical Institute. Risks were a big concern for me in choosing RNYGB, and he did address all of those risks. I would rate him and the program EXCELLANT overall. I would say that his surgical competance and experience is best, but he is a very nice man as well."
