Well, here I am one year out from surgery. I've lost a little over 100 pounds and I feel fantastic! With the exception of hernia surgery in January, I haven't had any problems. I've gotten a little off track recently but am working to get back on track and lose the remaining 20 pounds I need to lose. I still go to the gym and have actually developed some muscles. Life is good!

I have lost a total of 75 pounds in five months and I feel wonderful! I continue to go to the gym and do my workouts. I have much more energy now. No real problems. I just take it a day at a time.

I have lost 62 pounds since the end of May and I am feeling better all the time! My husband and I have been working out at the gym, walking and are feeling healthier. I can now ride again on the back of our Harley Davidson motorcycle! I love that!

Well, I made it through surgery with flying colors! I am actually doing pretty well so far. Of course there was a lot of fluid retention the first week but most of that has gone. I am losing weight  and was down 9 pounds at my first weigh in a week after surgery.  I am still dealing with air on my belly at different times and that can be very uncomfortable.  I have a full, sometimes bloated feeling most of the time. I am on a full liquid diet phase 2. Next step will be the pureed diet. Looking forward to that!

Well, my surgery date is June 24th. Next Wednesday, not that far!  I'm a little nervous but am also getting excited! I've been doing well on my 30 day liquid protein diet and have lost 20 pounds. I am well below my target weight for surgery. I am looking forward to doing all the things I've been wanting to do after I have lost the weight. I miss going for rides with my husband on our Harley Davidson motorcycle. I want to fly and actually fit in the airplane seat and theater seats as well!
I went to the hospital today for my pre-op assessment. I just need to pack my bag for the hospital and then I'm ready to rock!
