My Story hummmm well I wasn't always overweight I was a pagent queen and did some modeling dated the really HOT guys and even a few famous people when I was younger and pre weight gain LOL I got pregnant at 18 had a beautiful baby boy who is now 15 and never lost a pound of the weight I gained he was born 5 weeks early weighed 7lbs 8 oz and I didn't lose a single lb. I got staph infection had to be reopened and left opened with packing which caused me to go into depression. Got over that married his father and had a mother-in-law who never let me forget the weight I gained and who insisted her son would love me more if I would lose the weight (he was a only child) needless to say divorced and was single for awhile was not obese or anything just had some extra weight wasn't even in plus size YET but my lovely mother would tell me you would find a man if you would lose some weight my response was "Why would I want a man that I had to lose weight for" what happens if I get pregnant again gain the weight back is he going to leave me? Anyway my mom started me on a diet meal plan lost about 30lbs felt pretty good still wasn't pre pregnancy weight but better and of course met a wonderful man got married got pregnant again was 188 the day I went into labor and was 188 the day I came home ugggg! went on several diets would lose and gain same old same old Was dx'ed with IBS want take my meds casue I figure if I am this big and go to the bathroom everytime I eat imagine how big I would be if I didn't LOL I also had huge breast a 42 G I had a reduction becasue even at 118 I was a D thought that would help the back pain and it did some but was dx'ed with fibromyalgia and started alot of meds and even more weight gain. I have since been dx'ed with DDD herniated disc, Intercystial cystitis, hypersomnia, High Blood Pressure, Sleep Apnea and the list goes on. I have thought about WLS for several years but because I live in such a small town didn't know that many people who had had it I did work with a guy who had it but almost died before they got him fixed now he can't gain weight no matter how hard he tries then my aunt had it done and she almost died so my family aren't very supportive and that is one of the reason I was thinkin about the band but plan on decideing after I educate myself on my options and with the help of my Dr. I go to my first seminar this friday Oct. 3rd so I guess the adventures starts now!!!
