Aug 06, 2009

Praise the Lord, everybody!
Well, ten months into this WWatcher's journey and I'm down 57lbs ... I've hit a plateau twice within this journey, with each lasting 3 weeks!!!  I was hoping to be further along by my 1 year anniversary of beginning this journey, but I'm thankful for what I've been able to accomplished.  I've got 2 months left, 'til it'll be a year, I'll keep you guys updated when I reach a year.

Much love,
Skinee

Made up mind

Mar 14, 2009

Hey, everyone
Just updating you on how I am, and what I've decided.  I'm currently in my 5th month of the supervised diet on WWatcher's, which has been a blessing for me.  I'm learning so much and actually enjoying this journey.   So, with that said, I've decided to not do surgery and to stick with WWatcher's and change my life, how I eat, and make moving/exercise a habit.  I've lost 35.6 lbs and I feel GREAT!  Yes, I know the weight is not going to come off as fast, but the race isn't given to the swift, but to those who endure to the end ... I'm commented to the end.  Thank you God ... He's Awesome!

4th month in supervised diet

Jan 19, 2009

Well, I went in today for my monthly check up and the doc says I'm doing really good, my blood pressure's down, my weight is down 22lbs ... I feel good.  I have to admit I'm on the fence about having surgery or not.  I still haven't decided yet though.  Weight Watcher's is working for me ... it's doable.  I need to step it up with my excersing ... my treadmill is playing out on me, so I need to find an alternative.  Anyhow, my goal is to knock 10lbs off by my next appt. ... it's a done deal.

Peace out guys

1'st months follow up

Nov 28, 2008

Well, I went in for my first months follow up with my PCP(last week) and I'm down 15lbs ... not bad, I guess.  My Dr. says I'm doing good, but said the main thing is for me not to miss my monthly follow up visit with him and not to worry about losing weight or not.

Okay, y'all know I'm on WWatcher's and I'm sticking with my daily points ... and half the time not even using my daily allowance ... anyhow, I made some turkey chili last week ... it was mmm ... it was good!  I went to weigh in last Saturday and my weight stayed the same ... I don't know if it was the chili or not, but I can't have that!  I was disappointed, but I can't let it get me down.  This is a journey, not a picnic ... I got to keep mov'in and press on!

God Bless

One month down ... Five to go

Nov 12, 2008

I'm enjoying WW ... started exercising. My weight loss is going slower than I thought it would, but I'm losing a little each week.  I've lost 13lbs so far... starting to feel better.  I thank God for this experience ... after I thought about it  This is preparation time, it's teaching me good eating habit, portion control and making me accountable for everything I put in my mouth.  I hope to lose 30-40 pound before WLS.  I go for my one month weigh in with my PCP ... yeah, one month down!
