My story? In high school around freshman/sophomore year I was 125 pounds with 34C boobs and ran track (sprints) and cross country. Fast forward to Junior year and I had several huge family changes and began my first job....at WHATABURGER!! So, guess what I ate EVERY night..yep you guessed it, hamburgers! So it didn't take long for the weight to start piling on. Graduated high school around 200 pounds. When I was 19 I started working out very heavy because I was going to join the ARMY. Well I ended up getting pregnant with my first son and packed on the pounds. After that the weight just kept adding up. Tried Weight Watchers several times and lost probably 30 pounds. Met my sweet wonderful husband, got married and had 2 more kids.

This past year I started really looking at my life and started looking over pictures, and realized that I was not in ANY pictures with my kids. I hated the way I looked so much that I never wanted to be in front of the camera with my children. I started thinking about later on when they are grown up are they going to think that I wasn't there? I started a new job for a hospital and found out that they covered bariatric surgery if done at the facility that I worked at. So August of 2012 I went to the seminar held by my surgeon at the hospital and I immediately got on the fast track to getting this done before I chickened out. Had my laprascopic sleeve gastrectomy on 10/18/2012 and I haven't looked back. As of now (February 2013) I have lost almost 60 pounds!
