Starting the process

I went for my first visit with the surgeon. There we went through a seminar and were able to ask questions and hear about the different procedures. After the seminar we met with the surgeon one on one and then met with the insurance coodinator. I found out that my insurance would cover the VSG, but I had to do a 6 month prep program. So that's when I began seeing my PCP and Nutritionist for six months. I also had to have written proof of an excerise program for the six months. So my journey began!
