Well just a little about me, I have been married for 12yrs, with 2 very handsome boys ages 9 and 6. I have had a weight issue all of my life, but more so since having kids. I feel like i have cheated my kids out of having a skinny mom. I am 32 and want to live the rest of my 30's skinny. I will be having the lap band done, so I am so ready for this next chapter in my life! I keep calling my doc office to see if they have had a cancellation, and they keep telling no, i am sure Sept 6th will be here before i know it. I have to say reading some of the message board, scares me at times. But I really feel in my heart that everything is going to o.k. and I will probably do better than I give myself credit for. Anyhow, I will do updates on here as I go through this journey.
