So I had the DS done on 9/8/08. Love it!! I just had a tummy tuck and breast lift done 12/16/10! What a difference plastic surgery has made! Its like the final chapter of this whole journey! AMAZING!!! Doctor removed 11pds of skin off my stomach, and lifted the girls..went from a DD to a C. I couldn't be happier!! I don't ever remember having a flat stomach, or having the girls in place! 
Thank God for WLS doctors and plastic surgery doctors!!! 

Sorry for taking so long to update. At the end of June '08, i realized i had a leak. I went in for an x-ray and barrium swallow and found nothing. A week later I went to see the doc and he took out all the fluid there was and only got drops. He asked what i wanted to do and I said the sleeve, well i was denied. So then we put in for the DS and got approved. So I am having surgery on Sept 8th 2008, a year and 2 days from when I had the lap band done. Oh yea, and I have gained 25pds of the 40 back that i lost with the band. So it is almost like i am starting over. I just hope that i have made the right decision this time and hope it works. I have seen many success story's, so there is hope for me too.

Anyhow, I will update after my surgery next week.

Well I am a little over a month out, and feeling great! I start regular foods today so we will see how that goes. I am down 20pds and have been for about a week or so. I go for my first post op appt on wed  the 17th, so I am hoping for a fill to kick start me again.

O.K., its the day after surgery and I am feeling better, although I didn't earlier. I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel here. This whole surgery thing sucks. I don't remember any of my other surgerys being this bad. I guess really the only bad thing is the gas! it is aweful! I am a little sore,but that was to be expected, but not all this gas. Anyhow, the food thing is an adjustment, but i know it is important to do what the doc says these first few weeks. So I am doing what I am told. Anyhow I keep an update as go through this journey.
