IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAVE DONE AN UPDATE. BUT HERE GOES THE DAY OF MY SURGERY THEY WASNT GOING TO DO IT. THE DOCTOR KNEW I WAS TO HAVE SURGERY THAT DAY BUT THE HOSPITAL DIDNT HAVE ME DOWN FOR SURGERY. HOW MAD CAN ONE PERSON BE HAVE YOUR DAY SWITCHED OVER AND OVER THEN THE DAY OF BE TOLD U R NOT ON THE LIST TO BE THERE. I TOLD THEM THEY NEEDED TO BUMP SOMEONE ELSE I AM HERE AND READY AND THIS ISNT MY FAULT. AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF, THEY DID WHATEVER MAGIC AND I WAS BEING PREP FOR SURGERY. SURGERY WENT GREAT AND MY STAY WAS GREAT WITH LOTS OF VISITS FROM SUPPORT. THE DRAMA STARTED AFTER I GOT HOME AND NOT A WEEK LATER I WAS AT THE ER WITH PAIN AND KNOTS ON MY BELLY. THEY SAID I HAD AN INFECTION AND MY BOWELS WERE BACKED UP. THE NEXT DAY I SAW DR. ANDERSON AND SHE SAID USE A HEATING PAD ON THOSE KNOTS I DID. LATER THAT DAY I GOT SOME PUSS FROM ONE OF MY KNOTS THE INFECTION WAS COMMING OUT, THAT WAS GOOD. BUT AFTER A WEEK I WAS STARTING TO SEE THE WHITE OF MY SKIN WERE THERE WAS A HOLE IN MY BELLY I WENT TO THE DOCTOR AND SHE SAID I HAD AN ABCESS AND SHE NEEDED TO DO SURGERY THE NEXT DAY. NOW I HAVE HAD 2 SURGERIES IN LESS THAN A MONTH NOW I HAVE A WOUND VAC MACHINE ON AND SEE A NURSE 3X A WEEK TO CHANGE MY DRESSING AND PACKING. OVERALL I AM DOING OK JUST GOT TO STILL BE WATCHFUL OF WHAT I EAT AND GET MY PROTEINS IN. SO I PROMISE TO DO BETTER WITH MY UPDATES SO FAR I HAVE LAST 30 LBS. I GUESS THAT IS GREAT.

"Date in stone" Those were the words that Susie used the nurse from Dr. Anderson office said to me when she called me today. My date has been changed for the last time for Monday the 25th @ 7:30 am. I guess that is great I was going to be sleepy anyway so I can just go back to sleep and I wont be to hungry. I told her all these date changes are killing me she said dont worry no more this date is in stone this is your date. She promised me and the only thing I hate is I was planning on not going through this 2 week aftercare around my birthday which is the 7th of September but its ok.

This week has been a busy one. I went to the education class on tuesday 7/15 and it was great I learned alot of info that was well needed. Then on today I went to the evaluations which i feel went great. But i am waiting on the clearance letter from my family doctor stating that basicly my heart is ok. Well I was able to get to see her today and she sent me through the same this that they are going to give me for pre-admission. So she said she will have my letter for me tomorrow to give to my wls. now I am on the road after they get this letter I will have a date just knowing I got on here bearly 2 weeks ago hoping to have surgery and maybe in 3 weeks  I could have already had my surgery. so just wish me luck and soon i will be on the road to living a new and healthier life.
