HI EVERYBODY, JUST A QUICK NOTE TO LET YOU ALL KNOW I CAME HOME ON THURSDAY & I'M ON THE OTHER SIDE. EVERYTHING IS GOING OK SO FAR. HAD THE MORPHINE PUMP WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL, BUT SO FAR DIDN'T NEED ANYTHING FOR PAIN WHILE HOME. I'M ON CLEAR LIQUIDS UNTIL I GO SEE THE SURGEON ON THE 29TH. I'M TAKING ANTIBIOTICS BECAUSE I DID RUN A FEVER FOR 2 DAYS. DR. SAID THEY DID SEE A LITTLE INFUSION ON MY BOTTOM RIGHT LUNG, BUT NOT UNUSUAL AFTER SURGERY. ALSO ON ACTIGAL 2X A DAY. ONE THING I WAS SURPRISED AT WAS I HAVE NO STITCHES OR EXTERNAL STAPLES. I'M ALL GLUED & TAPED UP. SO EXCEPT FOR THE HEADACHE I GET AFTER LYING DOWN & FEELING A LITTLE FATIGUED I CAN SAY AT THIS POINT I'M FEELING 75% MYSELF. THE ONLY THING I'M HAVING TROUBLE DOING IS SITTING & TYPING THIS. I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE SIGNED MY CARD, SENT E-MAILS, ANSWERED MY MANY QUESTIONS & SUPPORTED ME THROUGH THIS. THANK YOU ERIC THIS SITE IS A GODSEND. I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO MY ANGEL DONNA POWERS WHO WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME. IT WAS GREAT MEETING YOU AT THE HOSPITAL. YOU WILL BE HAVING YOUR SURGERY IN JULY & I WILL DO THE SAME FOR YOU. Susan, I am so happy for you today is the first time I have had to e-mail you. My mother has been in the hospital since Sat. Home now but still don't know what was wrong. So I have been busy with her and you have been on my mind so much. I hope you are doing great and happy that you have started your new life. I pray you don't have alot of pain and up and running real soon. Just do wht they tell you to do and you should be just fine. Chat with you soon don't over do things when you get home. 3/20 9PM - ANGEL UPDATE!!! I went to visit Sue in the hopsital, and she is doing great. She was sitting up and walking and had her family with her. She has had a few sips of ice chips and is hoping to go home Thursday. She has no staples!! Her incision is closed with surgical tape and skin glue; it is amazing!! Anyway she is a very lovely and cheerful, upbeat person and I am so proud to be her angel. Sue, I am praying for you to finish up the last few days of hospital and then home to begin your new life!

Ooops, I think I accidentally posted...my name:) Good luck to you Susan, I am working tonight and will be praying for you when 5:30am rolls around and you have to be at the hospital....lucky you, I have to be there at 5am next Tuesday. I pray all goes well and you short recovery. God Bless You.

Hi Susan, Congratulations on your 5.30 am surgery, I wish you a safe and speedy recovery. I am almost 5 months post op and down 75 pounds. I am extremly pleased. I only hope you do as well as I. Read Ava Lee's and Victoria Bowen's post op information, it is so helpful, remember to chew that meat. Best wishes, Debbie H

8PM 3/19- I got lost on the way to the hospital and never made it! Good thing angels can't get fired. Spoke to Sue on the phone and she is fine. Just very dry mouth. No pain except if she moves. They have not gotten her up yet. If they do not get her up by tomorrow, I promised that I will do it! I am determined to go; this time I will bring directions with me!(Sue's angel)
