"I had my surgery consult on 10/31/06. I loved, loved, LOVED Dr. Broussard and the team at Foundation Bariatrics. Team oriented, acted like they had all the time in the world for me, made me feel completely at ease. Wonderful! Dr. Broussard didn't act like he had anywhere else to be. He answered my questions completely, made sure I knew what I was getting into, and made himself completely available. It was evident that he loves what he does. I got a kick out of listening to his Louisiana accent, too! His organization is strict about pre- and post-op care. You also have a patient advocate assigned to you to help you navigate the process. I feel like I made the right choice with Foundation Bariatrics and so far rate them very highly! The downside is that while Dr. Broussard is in my network, the hospital and healthplex are not."
