Pre-op appt

Well I'm all finished all classes, just waiting for my pre-op appt. I am so happy that I have lost 22lbs . I have no desire to eat the things I was eating before.
I am a nervous though because I have 15 days to go starting tomorrow. That's like 2 weeks. I have no doubts in my mind because I know my God and my angels will be there with me!!!

Well my last class is over. Passed all required test and stuff......now just waiting on September 16......21 days.....woooohoooo

Well today is my last life skills class. I am so excited to finally be done. I would really like to thank everyone who has supported me so far in this new journey of mine.
I thank God for a supportive family, my husband who has been there and who supports me in my decision to have surgery. He has even stopped drinking soda because he knows that's my weakness.
My mom Ann (birth mom) who put off having surgery so she could be there to take care of me first. (wow I love her so much)
My mom Pat (step-mom) who attended life skills classes with me and was just as excited to be at the classes and took more notes than I did....lol.
My daddy who was the last person I wanted to tell because I thought he would be against me having surgery because he has never had a problem with weight, and at 68 years young, is in better shape than me.
My kids, my sisters and my best friend have always been there and I thank you so much for your love, support, words of encouragement, and most of all your prayers.
I never thought I would be one to blog about anything, but hopefully this will be helpful to someone else who made this decision to change your life forever.
This is a decision that took me over 4 years to make, and if your mind is not ready, and you are not willing to make a change in your eating, then maybe you should rethink one of the biggest decisions of your life that you will ever have to make.

MD clearance

Why I was so nervous I don't know, but it's nothing. The doc just going over all your labs and test giving you a couple last minute pointers.
Just have to finish my last life skill class which is Wednesday.....I'm on my way

I have 23days until my surgery. My MD clearance in on Monday. I really don't know what's gonna happen.....but I'm sure everything will be fine
